Old and weathered,
           Muddy ground giving way,

Truths held as fact once proven otherwise,
           Horde of gold into dirt,
           Dirt into gold
                     Spat upon,
                     Cast out,
                     Shat upon,
                     Beaten,
                      Abused,
                      Objectified,
                     Internalized,

No water, no sun,
New moon, no light,
Rock, wind, debris;
Where else but the navel with your sight?
